We’ve made the difficult decision to sunset Sim IDX, with the beta environment scheduled to be discontinued on January 1, 2026.
Throughout the beta, your engagement, feedback, and trust have been invaluable. You’ve helped us understand not only what resonated, but also where the structural limitations in our approach lay. Ultimately, our current stack presents challenges that would prevent Sim IDX from scaling to additional chains in a way that meets our standards. Rather than pursuing workarounds, we’ve chosen to refocus our efforts where we can deliver the greatest value.
That path is Sim API. We’re doubling down on it as the stronger foundation for providing accurate, consistent, and chain-comprehensive data. Sim API will continue to evolve, building on what we learned from Sim IDX while avoiding the constraints that held it back. Expect bold new features, endpoints and products from us here.
We’ll support users through their migration off IDX. Thank you for partnering with us during the beta. Your contributions have deeply shaped our understanding of developer needs, and that insight will continue to guide how we build for developers at Dune.
