Succinct is now live on Dune!

What is Succinct?

Succinct is building the Succinct Prover Network, a protocol on Ethereum that coordinates a decentralized network of provers to generate zero-knowledge proofs for any piece of software.

Instead of requiring developers to build custom circuits and learn cryptography, Succinct’s zkVM SP1 makes it possible to prove normal code directly, what the team calls ZK 2.0. This transforms proving into a general-purpose, programmable process, creating the first unified proving network that can serve blockchains, bridges, oracles, AI agents, video games, and more.

By introducing provers as a third actor alongside miners and stakers, Succinct opens proving as a permissionless marketplace where anyone can contribute computation and earn rewards.

Succinct Key Milestones

February 2024 — SP1 zkVM

Launched the first general-purpose zero-knowledge virtual machine, making it possible to generate ZK proofs directly from standard code.

September 2024 — OP Succinct

Brought the first type 1 zkEVM rollup to mainnet. Phala, Celo, Mantle, and Katana were among the first to adopt.

April 2025 — IBC Secured by SP1

With a ZK light client powered by SP1, every IBC transaction from Cosmos to Ethereum became cryptographically secured.

July 2025 — Across Integration

Across, one of the largest bridges, upgraded its interoperability stack to run on SP1.

August 2025 — Mainnet

Deployed the world’s first decentralized prover network. For the first time, anyone can generate proofs on a global, production-ready proving layer.

Bringing Succinct to Light with Dune

Now live on Dune, you can track and analyze Succinct’s proving marketplace in real time:

  • Prover Auctions: Monitor bids, efficiency, and rewards across the distributed network.
  • Proof Throughput: Track how many proofs are generated daily across categories like blockchains, bridges, and AI.
  • Cost Efficiency: Compare costs of proof generation over time as network competition increases.
  • Network Adoption: See which apps and domains are leveraging Succinct for real-world verification.
  • Use Cases in Action: Explore Succinct proofs across blockchains (scalability), AI (trust in outputs), social media (human verification), oracles (real-time data), and media (deepfake-proof attestations).
