When we started Dune, we had one goal: to make crypto data accessible to everyone.
Back then, crypto analytics was a niche, fragmented, and painful to work with. You needed custom pipelines, your own nodes, and a team of engineers just to answer a simple question like, “How many people are using my protocol?”
We built Dune so anyone could explore blockchain data with a simple SQL query. That idea turned into a community. Today, Dune powers over a million users. Entire industries measure themselves through dashboards built by our community and data analysts.
But we’ve always known that analytics were just the beginning.
Dune has now evolved into something much bigger. Not just a place to find insights, but a place to build with data.
At DuneCon25, we announced the next chapter to make blockchain data accessible to everyone, anywhere.
I will break down in this blog how we are making that vision come true with our new products.
Dune as Your Crypto Data Warehouse: Meet dbt Connector
For crypto-native teams, running your own data warehouse rarely makes sense. The blockchain data you need, across 100+ chains, is already live on Dune, continuously updated and validated. Instead of maintaining ingestion and storage systems, you can focus on what matters: put data to work.
For the first time, you can now run your own dbt directly on Dune. Point your dbt project at Dune’s warehouse and build end-to-end data pipelines: read, transform, and analyze.
All in one place.
- Build production-grade transformations with Git-based workflows
- Automate refreshes and manage dependencies natively
- Keep your entire data lineage, from raw blocks to dashboards, all without having to leave Dune
The blockchain data is already here. Now, you can engineer and build your entire data pipeline with it.

Enterprises can now access Dune’s blockchain datasets directly into Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks using our Datashare product. We expanded our Datashare offering from just Snowflake to BigQuery and Databricks, ensuring that no matter which warehouse your team is familiar with, we can deliver our data to it.
Over the past year, Dune has rapidly expanded our enterprise data offering. After launching Snowflake integration last year, adding BigQuery earlier this year, we are now proudly announcing our partnership with Databricks. With Datashare, enterprises and institutions can access Dune’s continuously updated blockchain datasets directly within their own environments, no ETL or maintenance required.
This expansion means Dune’s data can now live wherever your team already works, delivering the same trusted onchain intelligence inside every major warehouse platform. Firms like RWA.xyz, are already using Dune’s data to power analytics at scale via DataBricks. Leading organizations such as BitGo and Artemis also uses Dune’s Datashare as their blockchain data source.
- Cross-region replication for low-latency access
- Full historical coverage of major chains, including Solana
- Continuous syncs and secure governance integration
Datashare lets you query onchain data alongside your own, all in your compute environment, with zero ETL overhead.

Bring Onchain Intelligence Into Any Workflow: Dune Analytics API
Dune’s Analytics API has seen strong adoption, but many also haven’t heard about it. With the Analytics API, every query becomes a live, programmable endpoint. You can execute SQL queries, automate pipelines, and build custom analytics workflows directly on top of Dune’s query engine, with the same reliability and performance as the web platform.
Today, we are also announcing a wave of new improvements and new endpoints, alongside a full revamp of our SDKs for Go, Python, and TypeScript.
Highlights include:
- A single call to understand your usage across credits, storage, and overage
- The ability to run an entire query lineage in one execution
- Clearer and more structured error responses
- Support for executing arbitrary SQL directly within the API

Build Real-Time Onchain Apps: Sim by Dune
When we say data infrastructure, we mean it. And it wouldn’t be complete without real-time data that lets you power your onchain applications directly.
That’s exactly what Sim API delivers.
With Sim API, developers can access clean, production-grade data across 60+ blockchains in real-time. You can build wallets, portfolio trackers, and DeFi products using the same with a unified, production-ready, multichain API. Endpoints currently available:
- Balances
- Transactions
- Activities
- Token Holder
- Token Info
- Collectibles
- DeFi Positions (NEW)
- Subscription endpoints (NEW)
See how Farcaster already uses Sim API to power their wallet.

From Analytics to Infrastructure
Dune has always been where crypto data lives. Now, it’s where crypto teams build.
From dashboards to dbt pipelines, from APIs to real-time apps, Dune now spans the entire data lifecycle.
